Sarah Sahlaney

Ms. Sarah Sahlaney is a Social and Behavior Change Specialist at ACDI/VOCA. Sarah provides technical support for projects on how to design and implement behavior change activities in agricultural extension, nutrition, market systems and gender issues. Sarah leads barrier analyses at ACDI/VOCA and trains project teams in barrier analyses and social and behavior change communication. She also provides support for gender integration in ACDI/VOCA projects in West Africa and Southern and Central Asia.

Sarah holds an M.S. in International Agricultural Development and an M.S. in Community and Regional Development, both from the University of California, Davis. She received her B.S. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University. In her free time, Sarah can be found quilting, long distance swimming, or biking in Northern Virginia.
