Michael Culbertson

Michael J. Culbertson is a Research Associate at RMC Research Corporation in Denver, Colorado with 7 years of experience conducting and consulting on research and program evaluation in educational settings. Research projects he has conducted or supported include an assessment of the health education needs of university students, an evaluation of the Illinois school accountability policy, a study of the external and consequential validity of Massachusetts educator feedback surveys, evaluations of the Junior Achievement BizTown and Finance Park financial literacy programs, and a study of Qatari students' attitudes toward science. Dr. Culbertson served as the lead methodologist for an impact evaluation of the Grameen Foundation Community Knowledge Worker (CKW) program in Uganda, conducted by the USAID Modernizing Extension and Advisory Services (MEAS) project. Dr. Culbertson completed his PhD in Educational Psychology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and holds an EdM in International Educational Development from Boston University.
