Kristi D. Ladd, ACDI/VOCA D.C.

KD Ladd is currently serves as Senior Technical Director for Nutrition at ACDI/VOCA and has over 15 years of international nutrition experience in developing countries, including in-depth experience in Somalia, Darfur, Ethiopia, Burundi, Iraq, Afghanistan and Liberia. She is an expert in community management of acute malnutrition (CMAM) and prevention of chronic during the 1st 1,000 days.  

Ladd leads ACDI/VOCA’s leveraging agriculture programs for nutrition outcomes, working to find creative, strategic and sustainable ways to incorporate nutrition into agriculture programs leading to impact at vulnerable households.  Prior to joining ACDI/VOCA, Ladd worked for a variety of NGO’s managing nutrition programs.   Ladd holds an M.S. in public health and nutrition from James Madison University and a B.S. in human nutrition from Oklahoma State University. She is a registered dietitian.
