The certificate program includes 12 modules that are narrated PowerPoint, with supplemental activities and materials and a quiz that needs to be completed.  When all 12 modules are satisfactorily competed, the  University of Florida/Department Agricultural Extension and Education issues a certificate to the participant.

Where are the courses as such held? Online/face to face? At which institution?

 

What kind of “assignments” need to be completed? Is there an experiential learning component? A research project or thesis?

 

What is the cost of this certificate? (e.g., tuition cost; or describe funding model)

Non-Florida fee for entire certificate program will probably be $400.

Access to the program is scheduled to open in January 2012 for county agents in Florida, and then to the entire country later, probably March 2012.
